Psalm 33
1רַנְּנוּ צַדִּיקִים בַּיהוָה לַיְשָׁרִים נָאוָה תְהִלָּה׃
2הוֹדוּ לַיהוָה בְּכִנּוֹר בְּנֵבֶל עָשׂוֹר זַמְּרוּ־לוֹ׃
3שִׁירוּ־לוֹ שִׁיר חָדָשׁ הֵיטִיבוּ נַגֵּן בִּתְרוּעָה׃
4כִּי־יָשָׁר דְּבַר־יְהוָה וְכָל־מַעֲשֵׂהוּ בֶּאֱמוּנָה׃
5אֹהֵב צְדָקָה וּמִשְׁפָּט חֶסֶד יְהוָה מָלְאָה הָאָרֶץ׃
6בִּדְבַר יְהוָה שָׁמַיִם נַעֲשׂוּ וּבְרוּחַ פִּיו כָּל־צְבָאָם׃
7כֹּנֵס כַּנֵּד מֵי הַיָּם נֹתֵן בְּאֹצָרוֹת תְּהוֹמוֹת׃
8יִירְאוּ מֵיְהוָה כָּל־הָאָרֶץ מִמֶּנּוּ יָגוּרוּ כָּל־יֹשְׁבֵי תֵבֵל׃
9כִּי הוּא אָמַר וַיֶּהִי הוּא־צִוָּה וַיַּעֲמֹד׃
10יְהוָה הֵפִיר עֲצַת־גּוֹיִם הֵנִיא מַחְשְׁבוֹת עַמִּים׃
11עֲצַת יְהוָה לְעוֹלָם תַּעֲמֹד מַחְשְׁבוֹת לִבּוֹ לְדֹר וָדֹר׃
12אַשְׁרֵי הַגּוֹי אֲשֶׁר־יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו הָעָם בָּחַר לְנַחֲלָה לוֹ׃
13מִשָּׁמַיִם הִבִּיט יְהוָה רָאָה אֶת־כָּל־בְּנֵי הָאָדָם׃
14מִמְּכוֹן־שִׁבְתּוֹ הִשְׁגִּיחַ אֶל כָּל־יֹשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ׃
15הַיֹּצֵר יַחַד לִבָּם הַמֵּבִין אֶל־כָּל־מַעֲשֵׂיהֶם׃
16אֵין־הַמֶּלֶךְ נוֹשָׁע בְּרָב־חָיִל גִּבּוֹר לֹא־יִנָּצֵל בְּרָב־כֹּחַ׃
17שֶׁקֶר הַסּוּס לִתְשׁוּעָה וּבְרֹב חֵילוֹ לֹא יְמַלֵּט׃
18הִנֵּה עֵין יְהוָה אֶל־יְרֵאָיו לַמְיַחֲלִים לְחַסְדּוֹ׃
19לְהַצִּיל מִמָּוֶת נַפְשָׁם וּלְחַיּוֹתָם בָּרָעָב׃
20נַפְשֵׁנוּ חִכְּתָה לַיהוָה עֶזְרֵנוּ וּמָגִנֵּנוּ הוּא׃
21כִּי־בוֹ יִשְׂמַח לִבֵּנוּ כִּי בְשֵׁם קָדְשׁוֹ בָטָחְנוּ׃
22יְהִי־חַסְדְּךָ יְהוָה עָלֵינוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר יִחַלְנוּ לָךְ׃
1Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous, Praise is comely for the upright.
2Give thanks unto the LORD with harp, Sing praises unto Him with the psaltery of ten strings.
3Sing unto Him a new song; Play skilfully amid shouts of joy.
4For the word of the LORD is upright; And all His work is done in faithfulness.
5He loveth righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD.
6By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
7He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap; He layeth up the deeps in storehouses.
8Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
9For He spoke, and it was; He commanded, and it stood.
10The LORD bringeth the counsel of the nations to nought; He maketh the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
11The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, The thoughts of His heart to all generations.
12Happy is the nation whose God is the LORD; The people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance.
13The LORD looketh from heaven; He beholdeth all the sons of men;
14From the place of His habitation He looketh intently Upon all the inhabitants of the earth;
15He that fashioneth the hearts of them all, That considereth all their doings.
16A king is not saved by the multitude of a host; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
17A horse is a vain thing for safety; Neither doth it afford escape by its great strength.
18Behold, the eye of the LORD is toward them that fear Him, Toward them that wait for His mercy;
19To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.
20Our soul hath waited for the LORD; He is our help and our shield.
21For in Him doth our heart rejoice, Because we have trusted in His holy name.
22Let Thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, According as we have waited for Thee.
1Den gracias a Hashem con lira; cántenle con arpa de diez cuerdas.
2Cántenle un Mizmor nuevo; háganlo con júbilo.
3Porque recta es la palabra de Hashem, y toda su obra es verdad.
4Él ama la justicia y el derecho; de la misericordia de Hashem está llena la tierra.
5Por la palabra de Hashem fueron hechos los cielos, y todo su ejército por el soplo de su boca.
6Por la palabra de Hashem fueron hechos los cielos; todo el ejército de ellos fue hecho por el soplo de su boca.
7Él amontona las aguas de los mares, y guarda en depósitos los océanos.
8Tema al Eterno toda la tierra; témanle todos los habitantes del mundo.
9Porque él dijo, y fue hecho; él mandó, y existió.
10El Eterno frustra los planes de las naciones y deshace los pensamientos de los pueblos.
11El consejo de Hashem permanecerá para siempre, y los pensamientos de su corazón, por todas las generaciones.
12¡Bienaventurada la nación de la cual Hashem es Elohim, el pueblo al cual escogió como posesión suya!
13El Eterno ve desde los cielos; mira a todos los seres humanos.
14Desde el lugar de su morada observa a todos los habitantes de la tierra.
15El que formó el corazón de todos ellos comprende todas sus obras.
16El rey no es librado por la multitud del ejército; el valiente no escapa por su mucha fuerza.
17Vano es el caballo para la victoria, y a pesar de su gran fuerza, no podrá librar.
18El ojo de Hashem está sobre los que le temen, sobre los que esperan en su misericordia,
19para librar sus almas de la muerte y para darles vida en tiempos de hambre.
20Nuestra alma espera en Hashem: Él es nuestra ayuda y nuestro escudo.
21Por eso, nuestro corazón se alegra en él, porque en su santo nombre hemos confiado.
22Sea tu misericordia, oh Eterno, sobre nosotros, según lo esperamos de ti.
