Psalm 51
1לַמְנַצֵּחַ מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד׃
2בְּבוֹא־אֵלָיו נָתָן הַנָּבִיא כַּאֲשֶׁר־בָּא אֶל־בַּת־שָׁבַע׃
3חָנֵּנִי אֱלֹהִים כְּחַסְדֶּךָ כְּרֹב רַחֲמֶיךָ מְחֵה פְשָׁעָי׃
4הרבה [הֶרֶב] כַּבְּסֵנִי מֵעֲוֺנִי וּמֵחַטָּאתִי טַהֲרֵנִי׃
5כִּי־פְשָׁעַי אֲנִי אֵדָע וְחַטָּאתִי נֶגְדִּי תָמִיד׃
6לְךָ לְבַדְּךָ חָטָאתִי וְהָרַע בְּעֵינֶיךָ עָשִׂיתִי לְמַעַן תִּצְדַּק בְּדָבְרֶךָ תִּזְכֶּה בְשָׁפְטֶךָ׃
7הֵן־בְּעָווֹן חוֹלָלְתִּי וּבְחֵטְא יֶחֱמַתְנִי אִמִּי׃
8הֵן־אֱמֶת חָפַצְתָּ בַטֻּחוֹת וּבְסָתֻם חָכְמָה תוֹדִיעֵנִי׃
9תְּחַטְּאֵנִי בְאֵזוֹב וְאֶטְהָר תְּכַבְּסֵנִי וּמִשֶּׁלֶג אַלְבִּין׃
10תַּשְׁמִיעֵנִי שָׂשׂוֹן וְשִׂמְחָה תָּגֵלְנָה עֲצָמוֹת דִּכִּיתָ׃
11הַסְתֵּר פָּנֶיךָ מֵחֲטָאָי וְכָל־עֲוֺנֹתַי מְחֵה׃
12לֵב טָהוֹר בְּרָא־לִי אֱלֹהִים וְרוּחַ נָכוֹן חַדֵּשׁ בְּקִרְבִּי׃
13אַל־תַּשְׁלִיכֵנִי מִלְּפָנֶיךָ וְרוּחַ קָדְשְׁךָ אַל־תִּקַּח מִמֶּנִּי׃
14הָשִׁיבָה לִּי שְׂשׂוֹן יִשְׁעֶךָ וְרוּחַ נְדִיבָה תִסְמְכֵנִי׃
15אֲלַמְּדָה פֹשְׁעִים דְּרָכֶיךָ וְחַטָּאִים אֵלֶיךָ יָשׁוּבוּ׃
16הַצִּילֵנִי מִדָּמִים אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֵי תְּשׁוּעָתִי תְּרַנֵּן לְשׁוֹנִי צִדְקָתֶךָ׃
17אֲדֹנָי שְׂפָתַי תִּפְתָּח וּפִי יַגִּיד תְּהִלָּתֶךָ׃
18כִּי לֹא־תַחְפֹּץ זֶבַח וְאֶתֵּנָה עוֹלָה לֹא תִרְצֶה׃
19זִבְחֵי אֱלֹהִים רוּחַ נִשְׁבָּרָה לֵב־נִשְׁבָּר וְנִדְכֶּה אֱלֹהִים לֹא תִבְזֶה׃
20הֵיטִיבָה בִרְצוֹנְךָ אֶת־צִיּוֹן תִּבְנֶה חוֹמוֹת יְרוּשָׁלִָם׃
21אָז תַּחְפֹּץ זִבְחֵי־צֶדֶק עוֹלָה וְכָלִיל אָז יַעֲלוּ עַל־מִזְבַּחֲךָ פָרִים׃
1For the Leader. A Psalm of David;
2when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba.
3Be gracious unto me, O God, according to Thy mercy; According to the multitude of Thy compassions blot out my transgressions.
4Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.
5For I know my transgressions; And my sin is ever before me.
6Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned, And done that which is evil in Thy sight; That Thou mayest be justified when Thou speakest, And be in the right when Thou judgest.
7Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
8Behold, Thou desirest truth in the inward parts; make me, therefore, to know wisdom in mine inmost heart.
9Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
10Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which Thou hast crushed may rejoice.
11Hide Thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
12Create me a clean heart, O God; and renew a stedfast spirit within me.
13Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy holy spirit from me.
14Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation; and let a willing spirit uphold me.
15Then will I teach transgressors Thy ways; and sinners shall return unto Thee. .
16Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, Thou God of my salvation; so shall my tongue sing aloud of Thy righteousness.
17O Lord, open Thou my lips; and my mouth shall declare Thy praise.
18For Thou delightest not in sacrifice, else would I give it; Thou hast no pleasure in burnt-offering.
19The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise.
20Do good in Thy favour unto Zion; build Thou the walls of Jerusalem.
21Then wilt Thou delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt-offering and whole offering; Then will they offer bullocks upon Thine altar.

10Hazme oír gozo y alegría, y se regocijarán estos huesos que has quebrantado.
11Esconde tu rostro de mis pecados y borra todas mis maldades.
12Crea en mí, oh Elohim, un corazón puro y renueva un espíritu firme dentro de mí.
13No me eches de Tu presencia, ni quites de mí Tu espíritu de santidad.
14Devuélveme el gozo de tu salvación, y un espíritu generoso me sustente.
15Enseñaré a los perversos tus caminos, y los pecadores retornarán a Ti.
16Líbrame de homicidios, oh Elohim, Elohim de mi salvación, y con regocijo cantará mi lengua tu justicia.
17Señor, abre mis labios, y proclamará mi boca tu alabanza.
18Porque no quieres sacrificio; y si doy holocausto, no lo aceptas.
19Los sacrificios de Elohim son el espíritu quebrantado. Al corazón contrito y humillado no desprecias tú, oh Elohim.
20Haz bien a Tzión (Sion), con tu benevolencia; edifica los muros de Ierushalaim.
21Entonces te agradarán los sacrificios de justicia, el holocausto u ofrenda del todo quemada. Entonces se ofrecerán becerros sobre tu altar.
