Psalm 56
1לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל־יוֹנַת אֵלֶם רְחֹקִים לְדָוִד מִכְתָּם בֶּאֱחֹז אֹתוֹ פְלִשְׁתִּים בְּגַת׃
2חָנֵּנִי אֱלֹהִים כִּי־שְׁאָפַנִי אֱנוֹשׁ כָּל־הַיּוֹם לֹחֵם יִלְחָצֵנִי׃
3שָׁאֲפוּ שׁוֹרְרַי כָּל־הַיּוֹם כִּי־רַבִּים לֹחֲמִים לִי מָרוֹם׃
4יוֹם אִירָא אֲנִי אֵלֶיךָ אֶבְטָח׃
5בֵּאלֹהִים אֲהַלֵּל דְּבָרוֹ בֵּאלֹהִים בָּטַחְתִּי לֹא אִירָא מַה־יַּעֲשֶׂה בָשָׂר לִי׃
6כָּל־הַיּוֹם דְּבָרַי יְעַצֵּבוּ עָלַי כָּל־מַחְשְׁבֹתָם לָרָע׃
7יָגוּרוּ יצפינו [יִצְפּוֹנוּ] הֵמָּה עֲקֵבַי יִשְׁמֹרוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר קִוּוּ נַפְשִׁי׃
8עַל־אָוֶן פַּלֶּט־לָמוֹ בְּאַף עַמִּים הוֹרֵד אֱלֹהִים׃
9נֹדִי סָפַרְתָּה אָתָּה שִׂימָה דִמְעָתִי בְנֹאדֶךָ הֲלֹא בְּסִפְרָתֶךָ׃
10אָז יָשׁוּבוּ אוֹיְבַי אָחוֹר בְּיוֹם אֶקְרָא זֶה־יָדַעְתִּי כִּי־אֱלֹהִים לִי׃
11בֵּאלֹהִים אֲהַלֵּל דָּבָר בַּיהוָה אֲהַלֵּל דָּבָר׃
12בֵּאלֹהִים בָּטַחְתִּי לֹא אִירָא מַה־יַּעֲשֶׂה אָדָם לִי׃
13עָלַי אֱלֹהִים נְדָרֶיךָ אֲשַׁלֵּם תּוֹדֹת לָךְ׃
14כִּי הִצַּלְתָּ נַפְשִׁי מִמָּוֶת הֲלֹא רַגְלַי מִדֶּחִי לְהִתְהַלֵּךְ לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים בְּאוֹר הַחַיִּים׃
1For the Leader; upon Jonath-elem-rehokim. [A Psalm] of David; Michtam; when the Philistines took him in Gath. .
2Be gracious unto me, O God, for man would swallow me up; All the day he fighting oppresseth me.
3They that lie in wait for me would swallow me up all the day; For they are many that fight against me, O Most High,
4In the day that I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee.
5In God—I will praise His word— In God do I trust, I will not be afraid; What can flesh do unto me?
6All the day they trouble mine affairs; All their thoughts are against me for evil.
7They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, They mark my steps; According as they have waited for my soul.
8Because of iniquity cast them out; In anger bring down the peoples, O God.
9Thou has counted my wanderings; Put Thou my tears into Thy bottle; Are they not in Thy book?
10Then shall mine enemies turn back in the day that I call; This I know, that God is for me.
11In God—I will praise His word— In the LORD—I will praise His word—
12In God do I trust, I will not be afraid; What can man do unto me?
13Thy vows are upon me, O God; I will render thank-offerings unto Thee.
14For thou hast delivered my soul from death; Hast Thou not delivered my feet from stumbling? That I may walk before God in the light of the living?

2Ten compasión de mí, oh Elohim, porque un hombre me aplasta; me ataca y me presiona todo el día.
3Todo el día mis enemigos me pisotean, porque son muchos los que me atacan con soberbia.
4El día que siento miedo, yo confío en ti.
5En Elohim, cuya promesa alabo, en Elohim he confiado. ¡No le temeré a lo que me pueda hacer un simple mortal!
6Todo el día torcen mis palabras; todos sus pensamientos son contra mí para hacerme daño.
7Se esconden y conspiran. Acechan mis pasos esperando el momento de matarme.
8¿Creen que van a salir bien librados de su maldad? ¡Oh Elohim, derriba a esos pueblos con tu enojo!
9Tú has llevado la cuenta de mis pasos; guarda mis lágrimas en tu frasco. ¿Acaso no están registradas en tu libro?
10El día que te clame, mis enemigos darán marcha atrás. Esto lo tengo claro: que Elohim está de mi lado.
11En Elohim, cuya promesa alabo, en Hashem, cuya promesa alabo,
12en Elohim he confiado. No le temeré a lo que me pueda hacer un ser humano.
13Están sobre mí, oh Elohim, tus promesas; yo te pagaré mis sacrificios de agradecimiento.
14Porque salvaste mi vida de la muerte, y no dejaste que mis pies resbalaran, para que pueda caminar delante de Elohim en la luz de la vida.
