Philosophy

Jewish philosophy does not self-identify as a religion but is a form of intellectual life within the Judaism. Jewish philosophy is the pursuit of speculative knowledge undertaken from the perspective of the Jewish religion, in reference to Jewish concerns, or in relation to canonical Jewish texts.
