Psalm 122
1שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת לְדָוִד שָׂמַחְתִּי בְּאֹמְרִים לִי בֵּית יְהוָה נֵלֵךְ׃
2עֹמְדוֹת הָיוּ רַגְלֵינוּ בִּשְׁעָרַיִךְ יְרוּשָׁלִָם׃
3יְרוּשָׁלִַם הַבְּנוּיָה כְּעִיר שֶׁחֻבְּרָה־לָּהּ יַחְדָּו׃
4שֶׁשָּׁם עָלוּ שְׁבָטִים שִׁבְטֵי־יָהּ עֵדוּת לְיִשְׂרָאֵל לְהֹדוֹת לְשֵׁם יְהוָה׃
5כִּי שָׁמָּה יָשְׁבוּ כִסְאוֹת לְמִשְׁפָּט כִּסְאוֹת לְבֵית דָּוִיד׃
6שַׁאֲלוּ שְׁלוֹם יְרוּשָׁלִָם יִשְׁלָיוּ אֹהֲבָיִךְ׃
7יְהִי־שָׁלוֹם בְּחֵילֵךְ שַׁלְוָה בְּאַרְמְנוֹתָיִךְ׃
8לְמַעַן אַחַי וְרֵעָי אֲדַבְּרָה־נָּא שָׁלוֹם בָּךְ׃
9לְמַעַן בֵּית־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ אֲבַקְשָׁה טוֹב לָךְ׃
1A Song of Ascents; of David. I rejoiced when they said unto me: 'Let us go unto the house of the LORD.'
2Our feet are standing within thy gates, O Jerusalem;
3Jerusalem, that art builded as a city that is compact together;
4Whither the tribes went up, even the tribes of the LORD, as a testimony unto Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
5For there were set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; May they prosper that love thee.
7Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say: 'Peace be within thee.'
9For the sake of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
1[Canto de ascenso gradual. De David] Me alegré mucho cuando me dijeron: «Vamos a la casa de Hashem».
2Ya están nuestros pies dentro de tus puertas, Ierushalaim.
3Ierushalaim, construida como una ciudad bien compacta y unida.
4Allí suben las tribus, las tribus de Hashem, como testimonio para Israel, para dar gracias al nombre de Hashem.
5Porque allí están los tronos de justicia, los tronos de la casa de David.
6Pidan por la paz de Ierushalaim: «Que prosperen los que te aman.»
7«Que haya paz dentro de tus murallas y tranquilidad en tus palacios.»
8Por el bien de mis hermanos y amigos, diré: «Que haya paz en ti.»
9Por la casa de Hashem nuestro Elohim, buscaré tu bien.
