Psalm 124
1שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת לְדָוִד לוּלֵי יְהוָה שֶׁהָיָה לָנוּ יֹאמַר־נָא יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
2לוּלֵי יְהוָה שֶׁהָיָה לָנוּ בְּקוּם עָלֵינוּ אָדָם׃
3אֲזַי חַיִּים בְּלָעוּנוּ בַּחֲרוֹת אַפָּם בָּנוּ׃
4אֲזַי הַמַּיִם שְׁטָפוּנוּ נַחְלָה עָבַר עַל־נַפְשֵׁנוּ׃
5אֲזַי עָבַר עַל־נַפְשֵׁנוּ הַמַּיִם הַזֵּידוֹנִים׃
6בָּרוּךְ יְהוָה שֶׁלֹּא נְתָנָנוּ טֶרֶף לְשִׁנֵּיהֶם׃
7נַפְשֵׁנוּ כְּצִפּוֹר נִמְלְטָה מִפַּח יוֹקְשִׁים הַפַּח נִשְׁבָּר וַאֲנַחְנוּ נִמְלָטְנוּ׃
8עֶזְרֵנוּ בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה עֹשֵׂה שָׁמַיִם וָאָרֶץ׃
1A Song of Ascents; of David. 'If it had not been the LORD who was for us', Let Israel now say;
2'If it had not been the LORD who was for us, When men rose up against us,
3Then they had swallowed us up alive, when their wrath was kindled against us;
4Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul;
5Then the proud waters Had gone over our soul.'
6Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
1[Canto de ascenso gradual. De David] «Si Hashem no hubiera estado con nosotros», diga ahora Israel,
2«si Hashem no hubiera estado con nosotros cuando los hombres se levantaron contra nosotros,»
3entonces nos habrían tragado vivos cuando se encendió su furor contra nosotros;
