Psalm 125
1שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת הַבֹּטְחִים בַּיהוָה כְּהַר־צִיּוֹן לֹא־יִמּוֹט לְעוֹלָם יֵשֵׁב׃
2יְרוּשָׁלִַם הָרִים סָבִיב לָהּ וַיהוָה סָבִיב לְעַמּוֹ מֵעַתָּה וְעַד־עוֹלָם׃
3כִּי לֹא יָנוּחַ שֵׁבֶט הָרֶשַׁע עַל גּוֹרַל הַצַּדִּיקִים לְמַעַן לֹא־יִשְׁלְחוּ הַצַּדִּיקִים בְּעַוְלָתָה יְדֵיהֶם׃
4הֵיטִיבָה יְהוָה לַטּוֹבִים וְלִישָׁרִים בְּלִבּוֹתָם׃
5וְהַמַּטִּים עַקַלְקַלּוֹתָם יוֹלִיכֵם יְהוָה אֶת־פֹּעֲלֵי הָאָוֶן שָׁלוֹם עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
1A Song of Ascents. They that trust in the LORD Are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever.
2As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, So the LORD is round about His people, From this time forth and for ever.
3For the rod of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; That the righteous put not forth their hands unto iniquity.
4Do good, O LORD, unto the good, And to them that are upright in their hearts.
5But as for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, The LORD will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel.
1[Canto de ascenso gradual] Los que confían en Hashem son como el monte Tzión, que no se derrumba, sino que permanece firme para siempre.
2Como Ierushalaim está rodeada de montes, así Hashem rodea a su pueblo, desde ahora y para siempre.
3Porque el cetro de la maldad no descansará sobre la heredad de los justos, para que los justos no extiendan sus manos a la injusticia.
4Haz el bien, Hashem, a los buenos, a los que son rectos de corazón.
5Pero a los que se desvían por caminos tortuosos, Hashem los llevará con los que hacen maldad. ¡Sea la paz sobre Israel!
