Psalm 129
1שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת רַבַּת צְרָרוּנִי מִנְּעוּרַי יֹאמַר־נָא יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
2רַבַּת צְרָרוּנִי מִנְּעוּרָי גַּם לֹא־יָכְלוּ לִי׃
3עַל־גַּבִּי חָרְשׁוּ חֹרְשִׁים הֶאֱרִיכוּ למענותם [לְמַעֲנִיתָם׃]
4יְהוָה צַדִּיק קִצֵּץ עֲבוֹת רְשָׁעִים׃
5יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיִסֹּגוּ אָחוֹר כֹּל שֹׂנְאֵי צִיּוֹן׃
6יִהְיוּ כַּחֲצִיר גַּגּוֹת שֶׁקַּדְמַת שָׁלַף יָבֵשׁ׃
7שֶׁלֹּא מִלֵּא כַפּוֹ קוֹצֵר וְחִצְנוֹ מְעַמֵּר׃
8וְלֹא אָמְרוּ הָעֹבְרִים בִּרְכַּת־יְהוָה אֲלֵיכֶם בֵּרַכְנוּ אֶתְכֶם בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה׃
1A Song of Ascents. 'Much have they afflicted me from my youth up', Let Israel now say;
2'Much have they afflicted me from my youth up; But they have not prevailed against me.
3The plowers plowed upon my back; They made long their furrows.
4The LORD is righteous; He hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.'
5Let them be ashamed and turned backward, All they that hate Zion.
6Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, Which withereth afore it springeth up;
7Wherewith the reaper filleth not his hand, Nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
8Neither do they that go by say: ‘The blessing of the LORD be upon you; We bless you in the name of the LORD.'
1[Canto de ascenso gradual] «Mucho me han afligido desde mi juventud», diga ahora Israel,
2«Mucho me han afligido desde mi juventud, pero no han podido conmigo.»
3«Los aradores araron sobre mi espalda; hicieron largos surcos.»
4«Pero Hashem es justo; cortó las cuerdas de los malvados.»
5Sean avergonzados y retrocedan todos los que odian a Tzión.
6Sean como la hierba de los techos, que se marchita antes de crecer.
7De ella no llena su mano el segador, ni sus brazos el que hace gavillas.
8Tampoco los que pasan dicen: «La bendición de Hashem sea sobre ustedes. Los bendecimos en el nombre de Hashem.»
