Psalm 131
1שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת לְדָוִד יְהוָה לֹא־גָבַהּ לִבִּי וְלֹא־רָמוּ עֵינַי וְלֹא־הִלַּכְתִּי בִּגְדֹלוֹת וּבְנִפְלָאוֹת מִמֶּנִּי׃
2אִם־לֹא שִׁוִּיתִי וְדוֹמַמְתִּי נַפְשִׁי כְּגָמֻל עֲלֵי אִמּוֹ כַּגָּמֻל עָלַי נַפְשִׁי׃
3יַחֵל יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יְהוָה מֵעַתָּה וְעַד־עוֹלָם׃
1A Song of Ascents; of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; Neither do I exercise myself in things too great, or in things too wonderful for me.
2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child with his mother; My soul is with me like a weaned child.
3O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and for ever.
1[Canto de ascenso gradual. De David] Hashem, mi corazón no se ha envanecido, ni mis ojos se han alteado. No he andado en busca de grandezas, ni de cosas inalcanzables para mí.
2Más bien, he calmado y aquietado mi alma; como un niño destetado junto a su madre, así está mi alma dentro de mí.
3Espera, Israel, en Hashem, desde ahora y para siempre.
