Psalm 97
1יְהוָה מָלָךְ תָּגֵל הָאָרֶץ יִשְׂמְחוּ אִיִּים רַבִּים׃
2עָנָן וַעֲרָפֶל סְבִיבָיו צֶדֶק וּמִשְׁפָּט מְכוֹן כִּסְאוֹ׃
3אֵשׁ לְפָנָיו תֵּלֵךְ וּתְלַהֵט סָבִיב צָרָיו׃
4הֵאִירוּ בְרָקָיו תֵּבֵל רָאֲתָה וַתָּחֵל הָאָרֶץ׃
5הָרִים כַּדּוֹנַג נָמַסּוּ מִלִּפְנֵי יְהוָה מִלִּפְנֵי אֲדוֹן כָּל־הָאָרֶץ׃
6הִגִּידוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם צִדְקוֹ וְרָאוּ כָל־הָעַמִּים כְּבוֹדוֹ׃
7יֵבֹשׁוּ כָּל־עֹבְדֵי פֶסֶל הַמִּתְהַלְלִים בָּאֱלִילִים הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־לוֹ כָּל־אֱלֹהִים׃
8שָׁמְעָה וַתִּשְׂמַח צִיּוֹן וַתָּגֵלְנָה בְּנוֹת יְהוּדָה לְמַעַן מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ יְהוָה׃
9כִּי־אַתָּה יְהוָה עֶלְיוֹן עַל־כָּל־הָאָרֶץ מְאֹד נַעֲלֵיתָ עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִים׃
10אֹהֲבֵי יְהוָה שִׂנְאוּ רָע שֹׁמֵר נַפְשׁוֹת חֲסִידָיו מִיַּד רְשָׁעִים יַצִּילֵם׃
11אוֹר זָרֻעַ לַצַּדִּיק וּלְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵב שִׂמְחָה׃
12שִׂמְחוּ צַדִּיקִים בַּיהוָה וְהוֹדוּ לְזֵכֶר קָדְשׁוֹ׃
1The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad.
2Clouds and darkness are round about Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.
3A fire goeth before Him, And burneth up His adversaries round about.
4His lightnings lighted up the world; The earth saw, and trembled.
5The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6The heavens declared His righteousness, And all the peoples saw His glory.
7Ashamed be all they that serve graven images, That boast themselves of things of nought; Bow down to Him, all ye gods.
8Zion heard and was glad, And the daughters of Judah rejoiced; Because of Thy judgments, O LORD.
9For Thou, LORD, art most high above all the earth; Thou art exalted far above all gods.
10O ye that love the LORD, hate evil; He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivered them out of the hand of the wicked.
11Light is sown for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart.
12Be glad in the LORD, ye righteous; And give thanks to His holy name.
1¡Hashem reina! ¡Regocíjese la tierra! ¡Alégrense las muchas islas!
2Nube y oscuridad hay alrededor de él; la justicia y el derecho son el fundamento de su trono.
3El fuego avanza delante de él y abrasa a sus enemigos en derredor.
4Sus relámpagos alumbran el mundo; la tierra mira y se estremece.
5Delante de Hashem los montes se derriten como cera, delante de Hashem de toda la tierra.
6Los cielos anuncian su justicia, y todos los pueblos ven su gloria.
7Avergüéncense todos los que sirven a imágenes de talla, los que se glorían en los ídolos. ¡Póstrense ante él todos los elohim!
8Tzión escuchó y se alegró; las hijas de Yehudá se regocijarán a causa de tus juicios, oh Hashem.
9Porque tú, oh Hashem, eres supremo sobre toda la tierra; eres muy exaltado sobre todos los elohim.
10Los que aman a Hashem, aborrezcan el mal. Él guarda la vida de sus fieles; los libra de las manos de los impíos.
11La luz está sembrada para el justo, la alegría para los rectos de corazón.
12Alégrense, justos, en Hashem; celebren la memoria de su santidad.
