וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃
יהוה spoke to Moses, saying:
Hashem habló a Moshé, diciendo:
דַּבֵּר֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְיִקְחוּ־לִ֖י תְּרוּמָ֑ה מֵאֵ֤ת כָּל־אִישׁ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִדְּבֶ֣נּוּ לִבּ֔וֹ תִּקְח֖וּ אֶת־תְּרוּמָתִֽי׃
Tell the Israelite people to bring Me gifts; you shall accept gifts for Me from every person whose heart is so moved.
«Di a los Hijos de Israel que tomen una ofrenda para Mí; de todo hombre cuyo corazón lo motive, tomarán Mi ofrenda.»
וְזֹאת֙ הַתְּרוּמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּקְח֖וּ מֵאִתָּ֑ם זָהָ֥ב וָכֶ֖סֶף וּנְחֹֽשֶׁת׃
And these are the gifts that you shall accept from them: gold, silver, and copper;
Esta es la ofrenda que tomarán de ellos: oro, plata y bronce;
וּתְכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֥שׁ וְעִזִּֽים׃
blue, purple, and crimson yarns, fine linen, goats’ hair;
hilo azul, púrpura, carmesí, lino y pelo de cabra;
וְעֹרֹ֨ת אֵילִ֧ם מְאָדָּמִ֛ים וְעֹרֹ֥ת תְּחָשִׁ֖ים וַעֲצֵ֥י שִׁטִּֽים׃
tanned ram skins, dolphin skins, and acacia wood;
pieles de carnero teñidas de rojo, pieles finas y madera de acacia;
שֶׁ֖מֶן לַמָּאֹ֑ר בְּשָׂמִים֙ לְשֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְלִקְטֹ֖רֶת הַסַּמִּֽים׃
oil for lighting, spices for the anointing oil and for the aromatic incense;
aceite para el alumbrado, especias aromáticas para el aceite de la unción y para el incienso fragante;
אַבְנֵי־שֹׁ֕הַם וְאַבְנֵ֖י מִלֻּאִ֑ים לָאֵפֹ֖ד וְלַחֹֽשֶׁן׃
lapis lazuli and other stones for setting, for the ephod and for the breastpiece.

וְעָ֥שׂוּ לִ֖י מִקְדָּ֑שׁ וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֖י בְּתוֹכָֽם׃
And let them make Me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them.
Que me hagan un Mikdash, y habitaré entre ellos.
כְּכֹ֗ל אֲשֶׁ֤ר אֲנִי֙ מַרְאֶ֣ה אוֹתְךָ֔ אֵ֚ת תַּבְנִ֣ית הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן וְאֵ֖ת תַּבְנִ֣ית כָּל־כֵּלָ֑יו וְכֵ֖ן תַּעֲשֽׂוּ׃ (ס)
Exactly as I show you—the pattern of the Tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings—so shall you make it.
Conforme a todo lo que Yo te muestre, el diseño del Mishkán y el diseño de todos sus utensilios, así lo harán.
וְעָשׂ֥וּ אֲר֖וֹן עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּתַ֨יִם וָחֵ֜צִי אָרְכּ֗וֹ וְאַמָּ֤ה וָחֵ֙צִי֙ רָחְבּ֔וֹ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי קֹמָתֽוֹ׃
They shall make an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.
«Harán un Arón de madera de acacia. Su longitud será de dos codos y medio, su ancho de un codo y medio, y su altura de un codo y medio.»
וְצִפִּיתָ֤ אֹתוֹ֙ זָהָ֣ב טָה֔וֹר מִבַּ֥יִת וּמִח֖וּץ תְּצַפֶּ֑נּוּ וְעָשִׂ֧יתָ עָלָ֛יו זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב׃
Overlay it with pure gold—overlay it inside and out—and make upon it a gold molding round about.
Lo recubrirás de oro puro; por dentro y por fuera lo recubrirás, y harás en él una moldura de oro alrededor.
וְיָצַ֣קְתָּ לּ֗וֹ אַרְבַּע֙ טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֔ב וְנָ֣תַתָּ֔ה עַ֖ל אַרְבַּ֣ע פַּעֲמֹתָ֑יו וּשְׁתֵּ֣י טַבָּעֹ֗ת עַל־צַלְעוֹ֙ הָֽאֶחָ֔ת וּשְׁתֵּי֙ טַבָּעֹ֔ת עַל־צַלְע֖וֹ הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃
Cast four gold rings for it, to be attached to its four feet, two rings on one of its side walls and two on the other.
Fundirás para él cuatro aros de oro, los cuales pondrás en sus cuatro esquinas: dos aros a un lado, y dos aros al otro lado.
וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ בַדֵּ֖י עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים וְצִפִּיתָ֥ אֹתָ֖ם זָהָֽב׃
Make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold;
Harás varas de madera de acacia, las cuales recubrirás de oro;
וְהֵֽבֵאתָ֤ אֶת־הַבַּדִּים֙ בַּטַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַ֖ל צַלְעֹ֣ת הָאָרֹ֑ן לָשֵׂ֥את אֶת־הָאָרֹ֖ן בָּהֶֽם׃
then insert the poles into the rings on the side walls of the ark, for carrying the ark.
e introducirás las varas por los aros a los costados del Arón, para cargar el Arón con ellas.
בְּטַבְּעֹת֙ הָאָרֹ֔ן יִהְי֖וּ הַבַּדִּ֑ים לֹ֥א יָסֻ֖רוּ מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃
The poles shall remain in the rings of the ark: they shall not be removed from it.
Las varas permanecerán en los aros del Arón; no se sacarán de él.
וְנָתַתָּ֖ אֶל־הָאָרֹ֑ן אֵ֚ת הָעֵדֻ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶתֵּ֖ן אֵלֶֽיךָ׃
And deposit in the Ark [the tablets of] the Pact which I will give you.
Dentro del Arón pondrás el Testimonio que Yo te daré.
וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ כַפֹּ֖רֶת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר אַמָּתַ֤יִם וָחֵ֙צִי֙ אָרְכָּ֔הּ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי רָחְבָּֽהּ׃
You shall make a cover of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.
«Harás un kaporet de oro puro. Su longitud será de dos codos y medio, y su ancho de un codo y medio.»
וְעָשִׂ֛יתָ שְׁנַ֥יִם כְּרֻבִ֖ים זָהָ֑ב מִקְשָׁה֙ תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם מִשְּׁנֵ֖י קְצ֥וֹת הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃
Make two cherubim of gold—make them of hammered work—at the two ends of the cover.
Harás también dos keruvim; de oro labrado a martillo los harás en los dos extremos del kaporet.
וַ֠עֲשֵׂה כְּר֨וּב אֶחָ֤ד מִקָּצָה֙ מִזֶּ֔ה וּכְרוּב־אֶחָ֥ד מִקָּצָ֖ה מִזֶּ֑ה מִן־הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת תַּעֲשׂ֥וּ אֶת־הַכְּרֻבִ֖ים עַל־שְׁנֵ֥י קְצוֹתָֽיו׃
Make one cherub at one end and the other cherub at the other end; of one piece with the cover shall you make the cherubim at its two ends.
Harás un keruv en un extremo, y el otro keruv en el otro extremo. Del mismo kaporet harás los keruvim en sus dos extremos.
וְהָי֣וּ הַכְּרֻבִים֩ פֹּרְשֵׂ֨י כְנָפַ֜יִם לְמַ֗עְלָה סֹכְכִ֤ים בְּכַנְפֵיהֶם֙ עַל־הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת וּפְנֵיהֶ֖ם אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־אָחִ֑יו אֶל־הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת יִהְי֖וּ פְּנֵ֥י הַכְּרֻבִֽים׃
The cherubim shall have their wings spread out above, shielding the cover with their wings. They shall confront each other, the faces of the cherubim being turned toward the cover.
Los keruvim extenderán sus alas por encima, cubriendo con sus alas el kaporet. Sus rostros estarán uno frente al otro; los rostros de los keruvim estarán vueltos hacia el kaporet.
וְנָתַתָּ֧ אֶת־הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת עַל־הָאָרֹ֖ן מִלְמָ֑עְלָה וְאֶל־הָ֣אָרֹ֔ן תִּתֵּן֙ אֶת־הָ֣עֵדֻ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶתֵּ֖ן אֵלֶֽיךָ׃
Place the cover on top of the Ark, after depositing inside the Ark the Pact that I will give you.
«Pondrás el kaporet sobre el Arón, por encima; y dentro del Arón pondrás el Testimonio que Yo te daré.»
וְנוֹעַדְתִּ֣י לְךָ֮ שָׁם֒ וְדִבַּרְתִּ֨י אִתְּךָ֜ מֵעַ֣ל הַכַּפֹּ֗רֶת מִבֵּין֙ שְׁנֵ֣י הַכְּרֻבִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־אֲרֹ֣ן הָעֵדֻ֑ת אֵ֣ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֧ר אֲצַוֶּ֛ה אוֹתְךָ֖ אֶל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (פ)
There I will meet with you, and I will impart to you—from above the cover, from between the two cherubim that are on top of the Ark of the Pact—all that I will command you concerning the Israelite people.
Allí me reuniré contigo, y desde encima del kaporet, de entre los dos keruvim que están sobre el Arón del Testimonio, te comunicaré todo lo que ordene para los Hijos de Israel.
וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ שֻׁלְחָ֖ן עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּתַ֤יִם אָרְכּוֹ֙ וְאַמָּ֣ה רָחְבּ֔וֹ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי קֹמָתֽוֹ׃
You shall make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high.
«Harás una mesa de madera de acacia. Su longitud será de dos codos, su ancho de un codo, y su altura de un codo y medio.»
וְצִפִּיתָ֥ אֹת֖וֹ זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ לּ֛וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב׃
Overlay it with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it.
La recubrirás de oro puro y le harás una moldura de oro alrededor.
וְעָשִׂ֨יתָ לּ֥וֹ מִסְגֶּ֛רֶת טֹ֖פַח סָבִ֑יב וְעָשִׂ֧יתָ זֵר־זָהָ֛ב לְמִסְגַּרְתּ֖וֹ סָבִֽיב׃
Make a rim of a hand’s breadth around it, and make a gold molding for its rim round about.
Le harás también un marco alrededor, de un palmo de ancho, y al marco le harás una moldura de oro alrededor.
וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ לּ֔וֹ אַרְבַּ֖ע טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֑ב וְנָתַתָּ֙ אֶת־הַטַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַ֚ל אַרְבַּ֣ע הַפֵּאֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֖ר לְאַרְבַּ֥ע רַגְלָֽיו׃
Make four gold rings for it, and attach the rings to the four corners at its four legs.
Le harás cuatro aros de oro, los cuales pondrás en las cuatro esquinas que corresponden a sus cuatro patas.
לְעֻמַּת֙ הַמִּסְגֶּ֔רֶת תִּהְיֶ֖יןָ הַטַּבָּעֹ֑ת לְבָתִּ֣ים לְבַדִּ֔ים לָשֵׂ֖את אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃
The rings shall be next to the rim, as holders for poles to carry the table.
Los aros estarán junto al marco, por donde se insertarán las varas para cargar la mesa.
וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ אֶת־הַבַּדִּים֙ עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֔ים וְצִפִּיתָ֥ אֹתָ֖ם זָהָ֑ב וְנִשָּׂא־בָ֖ם אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃
Make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold; by these the table shall be carried.
«Harás las varas de madera de acacia y las recubrirás de oro; con ellas se cargará la mesa.»
וְעָשִׂ֨יתָ קְּעָרֹתָ֜יו וְכַפֹּתָ֗יו וּקְשׂוֹתָיו֙ וּמְנַקִּיֹּתָ֔יו אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֻסַּ֖ךְ בָּהֵ֑ן זָהָ֥ב טָה֖וֹר תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם׃
Make its bowls, ladles, jars and jugs with which to offer libations; make them of pure gold.
También harás sus platos, sus cucharas, sus jarros y sus tazas para las libaciones; los harás de oro puro.
וְנָתַתָּ֧ עַֽל־הַשֻּׁלְחָ֛ן לֶ֥חֶם פָּנִ֖ים לְפָנַ֥י תָּמִֽיד׃ (פ)
And on the table you shall set the bread of display, to be before Me always.
Y pondrás sobre la mesa el pan de la Presencia, siempre, delante de Mí.
וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ מְנֹרַ֖ת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר מִקְשָׁ֞ה תֵּעָשֶׂ֤ה הַמְּנוֹרָה֙ יְרֵכָ֣הּ וְקָנָ֔הּ גְּבִיעֶ֛יהָ כַּפְתֹּרֶ֥יהָ וּפְרָחֶ֖יהָ מִמֶּ֥נָּה יִהְיֽוּ׃
You shall make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be made of hammered work; its base and its shaft, its cups, calyxes, and petals shall be of one piece.
«Harás una menora de oro puro, labrada a martillo. Su base, su tallo, sus cálices, sus bulbos y sus flores serán de una sola pieza.»
וְשִׁשָּׁ֣ה קָנִ֔ים יֹצְאִ֖ים מִצִּדֶּ֑יהָ שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה ׀ קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֗ה מִצִּדָּהּ֙ הָאֶחָ֔ד וּשְׁלֹשָׁה֙ קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֔ה מִצִּדָּ֖הּ הַשֵּׁנִֽי׃
Six branches shall issue from its sides; three branches from one side of the lampstand and three branches from the other side of the lampstand.
Seis brazos saldrán de sus costados: tres brazos de la menora de un lado, y tres brazos de la menora del otro lado.
שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה גְ֠בִעִים מְֽשֻׁקָּדִ֞ים בַּקָּנֶ֣ה הָאֶחָד֮ כַּפְתֹּ֣ר וָפֶרַח֒ וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה גְבִעִ֗ים מְשֻׁקָּדִ֛ים בַּקָּנֶ֥ה הָאֶחָ֖ד כַּפְתֹּ֣ר וָפָ֑רַח כֵּ֚ן לְשֵׁ֣שֶׁת הַקָּנִ֔ים הַיֹּצְאִ֖ים מִן־הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃
On one branch there shall be three cups shaped like almond-blossoms, each with calyx and petals, and on the next branch there shall be three cups shaped like almond-blossoms, each with calyx and petals; so for all six branches issuing from the lampstand.
Habrá tres cálices en forma de flor de almendro en un brazo, con un bulbo y una flor; y tres cálices en forma de flor de almendro en el otro brazo, con un bulbo y una flor; así en los seis brazos que salen de la menora.
וּבַמְּנֹרָ֖ה אַרְבָּעָ֣ה גְבִעִ֑ים מְשֻׁקָּדִ֔ים כַּפְתֹּרֶ֖יהָ וּפְרָחֶֽיהָ׃
And on the lampstand itself there shall be four cups shaped like almond-blossoms, each with calyx and petals:
En el tallo de la menora habrá cuatro cálices en forma de flor de almendro, con sus bulbos y sus flores.
וְכַפְתֹּ֡ר תַּחַת֩ שְׁנֵ֨י הַקָּנִ֜ים מִמֶּ֗נָּה וְכַפְתֹּר֙ תַּ֣חַת שְׁנֵ֤י הַקָּנִים֙ מִמֶּ֔נָּה וְכַפְתֹּ֕ר תַּחַת־שְׁנֵ֥י הַקָּנִ֖ים מִמֶּ֑נָּה לְשֵׁ֙שֶׁת֙ הַקָּנִ֔ים הַיֹּצְאִ֖ים מִן־הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃
a calyx, of one piece with it, under a pair of branches; and a calyx, of one piece with it, under the second pair of branches, and a calyx, of one piece with it, under the last pair of branches; so for all six branches issuing from the lampstand.
Habrá un bulbo debajo de dos brazos de la misma, otro bulbo debajo de otros dos brazos, y otro bulbo debajo de los otros dos brazos; así con los seis brazos que salen de la menora.
כַּפְתֹּרֵיהֶ֥ם וּקְנֹתָ֖ם מִמֶּ֣נָּה יִהְי֑וּ כֻּלָּ֛הּ מִקְשָׁ֥ה אַחַ֖ת זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר׃
Their calyxes and their stems shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it a single hammered piece of pure gold.
Sus bulbos y sus brazos formarán una sola pieza con ella; todo será una pieza de oro puro labrada a martillo.
וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ אֶת־נֵרֹתֶ֖יהָ שִׁבְעָ֑ה וְהֶֽעֱלָה֙ אֶת־נֵ֣רֹתֶ֔יהָ וְהֵאִ֖יר עַל־עֵ֥בֶר פָּנֶֽיהָ׃
Make its seven lamps—the lamps shall be so mounted as to give the light on its front side—
«Además, le harás siete lámparas, y las acomodarás de modo que alumbren hacia la parte frontal.»
וּמַלְקָחֶ֥יהָ וּמַחְתֹּתֶ֖יהָ זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר׃
and its tongs and fire pans of pure gold.
También sus despabiladeras y sus platillos serán de oro puro.
כִּכָּ֛ר זָהָ֥ב טָה֖וֹר יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֑הּ אֵ֥ת כָּל־הַכֵּלִ֖ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃
It shall be made, with all these furnishings, out of a talent of pure gold.
Se hará de un talento de oro puro, junto con todos estos utensilios.
וּרְאֵ֖ה וַעֲשֵׂ֑ה בְּתַ֨בְנִיתָ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּ֥ה מָרְאֶ֖ה בָּהָֽר׃ (ס)
Note well, and follow the patterns for them that are being shown you on the mountain.
Fíjate y hazlos conforme al modelo que te ha sido mostrado en el monte.
וְאֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֥ן תַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה עֶ֣שֶׂר יְרִיעֹ֑ת שֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֗ר וּתְכֵ֤לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן֙ וְתֹלַ֣עַת שָׁנִ֔י כְּרֻבִ֛ים מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה חֹשֵׁ֖ב תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם׃
As for the tabernacle, make it of ten strips of cloth; make these of fine twisted linen, of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, with a design of cherubim worked into them.
«Harás el Mishkán con diez telas de lino torcido, de hilo azul, púrpura y carmesí. Las decorarás con keruvim, obra de hábil artesano.»
אֹ֣רֶךְ ׀ הַיְרִיעָ֣ה הָֽאַחַ֗ת שְׁמֹנֶ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה וְרֹ֙חַב֙ אַרְבַּ֣ע בָּאַמָּ֔ה הַיְרִיעָ֖ה הָאֶחָ֑ת מִדָּ֥ה אַחַ֖ת לְכָל־הַיְרִיעֹֽת׃
The length of each cloth shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each cloth shall be four cubits, all the cloths to have the same measurements.
La longitud de cada tela será de veintiocho codos, y el ancho de cuatro codos. Todas las telas tendrán la misma medida.
חֲמֵ֣שׁ הַיְרִיעֹ֗ת תִּֽהְיֶ֙יןָ֙ חֹֽבְרֹ֔ת אִשָּׁ֖ה אֶל־אֲחֹתָ֑הּ וְחָמֵ֤שׁ יְרִיעֹת֙ חֹֽבְרֹ֔ת אִשָּׁ֖ה אֶל־אֲחֹתָֽהּ׃
Five of the cloths shall be joined to one another, and the other five cloths shall be joined to one another.
Cinco telas se unirán una con otra, y las otras cinco telas se unirán una con otra.
וְעָשִׂ֜יתָ לֻֽלְאֹ֣ת תְּכֵ֗לֶת עַ֣ל שְׂפַ֤ת הַיְרִיעָה֙ הָאֶחָ֔ת מִקָּצָ֖ה בַּחֹבָ֑רֶת וְכֵ֤ן תַּעֲשֶׂה֙ בִּשְׂפַ֣ת הַיְרִיעָ֔ה הַקִּ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה בַּמַּחְבֶּ֖רֶת הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃
Make loops of blue wool on the edge of the outermost cloth of the one set; and do likewise on the edge of the outermost cloth of the other set:
Harás lazos de hilo azul en el borde de la tela del extremo en la primera unión, y de la misma manera harás en el borde de la tela del extremo en la segunda unión.
חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻֽלָאֹ֗ת תַּעֲשֶׂה֮ בַּיְרִיעָ֣ה הָאֶחָת֒ וַחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻֽלָאֹ֗ת תַּעֲשֶׂה֙ בִּקְצֵ֣ה הַיְרִיעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר בַּמַּחְבֶּ֣רֶת הַשֵּׁנִ֑ית מַקְבִּילֹת֙ הַלֻּ֣לָאֹ֔ת אִשָּׁ֖ה אֶל־אֲחֹתָֽהּ׃
make fifty loops on the one cloth, and fifty loops on the edge of the end cloth of the other set, the loops to be opposite one another.

And make fifty gold clasps, and couple the cloths to one another with the clasps, so that the tabernacle becomes one whole.

You shall then make cloths of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle; make the cloths eleven in number.

The length of each cloth shall be thirty cubits, and the width of each cloth shall be four cubits, the eleven cloths to have the same measurements.

Join five of the cloths by themselves, and the other six cloths by themselves; and fold over the sixth cloth at the front of the tent.

Make fifty loops on the edge of the outermost cloth of the one set, and fifty loops on the edge of the cloth of the other set.

Make fifty copper clasps, and fit the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together so that it becomes one whole.

As for the overlapping excess of the cloths of the tent, the extra half-cloth shall overlap the back of the tabernacle,

while the extra cubit at either end of each length of tent cloth shall hang down to the bottom of the two sides of the tabernacle and cover it.

And make for the tent a covering of tanned ram skins, and a covering of dolphin skins above.

You shall make the planks for the Tabernacle of acacia wood, upright.

The length of each plank shall be ten cubits and the width of each plank a cubit and a half.

Each plank shall have two tenons, parallel to each other; do the same with all the planks of the Tabernacle.

making forty silver sockets under the twenty planks, two sockets under the one plank for its two tenons and two sockets under each following plank for its two tenons;

They shall match at the bottom, and terminate alike at the top inside one ring; thus shall it be with both of them: they shall form the two corners.

Thus there shall be eight planks with their sockets of silver: sixteen sockets, two sockets under the first plank, and two sockets under each of the other planks.

You shall make bars of acacia wood: five for the planks of the one side wall of the Tabernacle,

five bars for the planks of the other side wall of the Tabernacle, and five bars for the planks of the wall of the Tabernacle at the rear to the west.

The center bar halfway up the planks shall run from end to end.

Overlay the planks with gold, and make their rings of gold, as holders for the bars; and overlay the bars with gold.

Then set up the Tabernacle according to the manner of it that you were shown on the mountain.

You shall make a curtain of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen; it shall have a design of cherubim worked into it.

Hang it upon four posts of acacia wood overlaid with gold and having hooks of gold, [set] in four sockets of silver.

Hang the curtain under the clasps, and carry the Ark of the Pact there, behind the curtain, so that the curtain shall serve you as a partition between the Holy and the Holy of Holies.

Place the cover upon the Ark of the Pact in the Holy of Holies.

Place the table outside the curtain, and the lampstand by the south wall of the Tabernacle opposite the table, which is to be placed by the north wall.

You shall make a screen for the entrance of the Tent, of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen, done in embroidery.

Make five posts of acacia wood for the screen and overlay them with gold—their hooks being of gold—and cast for them five sockets of copper.

You shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide—the altar is to be square—and three cubits high.

Make its horns on the four corners, the horns to be of one piece with it; and overlay it with copper.

Make the pails for removing its ashes, as well as its scrapers, basins, flesh hooks, and fire pans—make all its utensils of copper.
También harás sus recipientes para recoger la grasa, sus palas, sus tazones para aspersiones, sus tenedores y sus braseros; de bronce harás todos sus utensilios.
וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ לּוֹ֙ מִכְבָּ֔ר מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה רֶ֣שֶׁת נְחֹ֑שֶׁת וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ עַל־הָרֶ֗שֶׁת אַרְבַּע֙ טַבְּעֹ֣ת נְחֹ֔שֶׁת עַ֖ל אַרְבַּ֥ע קְצוֹתָֽיו׃
Make for it a grating of meshwork in copper; and on the mesh make four copper rings at its four corners.

Set the mesh below, under the ledge of the altar, so that it extends to the middle of the altar.

And make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with copper.

The poles shall be inserted into the rings, so that the poles remain on the two sides of the altar when it is carried.

Make it hollow, of boards. As you were shown on the mountain, so shall they be made.

You shall make the enclosure of the Tabernacle: On the south side, a hundred cubits of hangings of fine twisted linen for the length of the enclosure on that side—

וְעַמֻּדָ֣יו עֶשְׂרִ֔ים וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֥ם עֶשְׂרִ֖ים נְחֹ֑שֶׁת וָוֵ֧י הָעַמֻּדִ֛ים וַחֲשֻׁקֵיהֶ֖ם כָּֽסֶף׃
with its twenty posts and their twenty sockets of copper, the hooks and bands of the posts to be of silver.

Again a hundred cubits of hangings for its length along the north side—with its twenty posts and their twenty sockets of copper, the hooks and bands of the posts to be of silver.

For the width of the enclosure on the front, or east side, fifty cubits:

and for the gate of the enclosure, a screen of twenty cubits, of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen, done in embroidery, with their four posts and their four sockets.
«En la entrada del atrio habrá una cortina de 20 codos, de material azul, de púrpura, de carmesí y de lino torcido, obra de bordador. Sus pilares y sus bases serán cuatro.»

Command the Israelite people and say to them: Be punctilious in presenting to Me at stated times the offerings of food due Me, as offerings by fire of pleasing odor to Me.
«Manda a los Hijos de Israel y diles: «Cumplirán con mis sacrificios, mi pan, mis ofrendas quemadas de grato olor, ofreciéndomelos a su debido tiempo.»»

You shall offer one lamb in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight.

And as a meal offering, there shall be a tenth of an ephah of choice flour with a quarter of a hin of beaten oil mixed in—

the regular burnt offering instituted at Mount Sinai —an offering by fire of pleasing odor to יהוה.

The libation with it shall be a quarter of a hin for each lamb, to be poured in the sacred precinct as an offering of fermented drink to יהוה.

The other lamb you shall offer at twilight, preparing the same meal offering and libation as in the morning—an offering by fire of pleasing odor to יהוה.

a burnt offering for every sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its libation.

Their libations shall be: half a hin of wine for a bull, a third of a hin for a ram, and a quarter of a hin for a lamb. That shall be the monthly burnt offering for each new moon of the year.

And there shall be one goat as a sin offering to יהוה, to be offered in addition to the regular burnt offering and its libation.

On Rosh Hodesh Tevet during Hanukkah, these verses are read in three aliyot (Kohen 1–5, Levi 6–10, Yisrael 11–15) and Revi’i reads from the Hanukkah portion. On Shabbat Rosh Hodesh, the weekly parasha is read and the maftir is 28:9–15.
וְאַתָּ֞ה תְּצַוֶּ֣ה ׀ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וְיִקְח֨וּ אֵלֶ֜יךָ שֶׁ֣מֶן זַ֥יִת זָ֛ךְ כָּתִ֖ית לַמָּא֑וֹר לְהַעֲלֹ֥ת נֵ֖ר תָּמִֽיד׃
You shall further instruct the Israelites to bring you clear oil of beaten olives for lighting, for kindling lamps regularly.

Aaron and his sons shall set them up in the Tent of Meeting, outside the curtain which is over [the Ark of] the Pact, [to burn] from evening to morning before יהוה. It shall be a due from the Israelites for all time, throughout the ages.
Aarón y sus hijos las dispondrán delante Hashem, en el tabernáculo de reunión, fuera del velo que está delante del testimonio, desde el anochecer hasta el amanecer. Éste es un estatuto perpetuo de los Hijos de Israel, a través de sus generaciones.

You shall bring forward your brother Aaron, with his sons, from among the Israelites, to serve Me as priests: Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron.

Make sacral vestments for your brother Aaron, for dignity and adornment.

It shall have two shoulder-pieces attached; they shall be attached at its two ends.

וְחֵ֤שֶׁב אֲפֻדָּתוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָלָ֔יו כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֖הוּ מִמֶּ֣נּוּ יִהְיֶ֑ה זָהָ֗ב תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֥שׁ מָשְׁזָֽר׃
And the decorated band that is upon it shall be made like it, of one piece with it: of gold, of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and of fine twisted linen.
Su cinturón para ajustarlo, que estará sobre él, será de la misma obra y de los mismos materiales: oro, azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino torcido.

attach the two stones to the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, as stones for remembrance of the Israelite people, whose names Aaron shall carry upon his two shoulder-pieces for remembrance before יהוה.

The LORD had given Solomon wisdom, as He had promised him. There was friendship between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a treaty.
El Eterno dio a Shelomó sabiduría, tal como le había prometido. Había paz entre Jirám (Hiram) y Shelomó, y ambos hicieron una alianza.

King Solomon imposed forced labor on all Israel; the levy came to 30,000 men.

He sent them to the Lebanon in shifts of 10,000 a month: they would spend one month in the Lebanon and two months at home. Adoniram was in charge of the forced labor.

apart from Solomon’s 3,300 officials who were in charge of the work and supervised the gangs doing the work.

The king ordered huge blocks of choice stone to be quarried, so that the foundations of the house might be laid with hewn stones.
El rey mandó que extrajesen piedras grandes, piedras costosas, para poner los cimientos del templo con piedras labradas.
וַֽיִּפְסְל֞וּ בֹּנֵ֧י שְׁלֹמֹ֛ה וּבֹנֵ֥י חִיר֖וֹם וְהַגִּבְלִ֑ים וַיָּכִ֛ינוּ הָעֵצִ֥ים וְהָאֲבָנִ֖ים לִבְנ֥וֹת הַבָּֽיִת׃ (פ)
Solomon’s masons, Hiram’s masons, and the men of Gebal shaped them. Thus the timber and the stones for building the house were made ready.
Los constructores de Shelomó, los de Jirám (Hiram) y los de Biblos, tallaron y prepararon la madera y las piedras para construir el templo.

In the four hundred and eightieth year after the Israelites left the land of Egypt, in the month of Ziv—that is, the second month—in the fourth year of his reign over Israel, Solomon began to build the House of the LORD.
Aconteció que Shelomó comenzó a edificar la casa de Hashem en el año 480 después que los Hijos de Israel salieron de la tierra de Egipto, en el mes de Ziv, que es el mes segundo, del cuarto año del reinado de Shelomó sobre Israel.

The House which King Solomon built for the LORD was 60 cubits long, 20 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high.

The portico in front of the Great Hall of the House was 20 cubits long—along the width of the House—and 10 cubits deep to the front of the House.
El pórtico delante del lugar santo del templo tenía 20 codos de largo, a lo ancho de la casa, y 10 codos de ancho en el frente de la casa.
וַיַּ֣עַשׂ לַבָּ֔יִת חַלּוֹנֵ֖י שְׁקֻפִ֥ים אֲטֻמִֽים׃
He made windows for the House, recessed and latticed.
También hizo al edificio ventanas anchas por dentro y angostas por fuera.
וַיִּבֶן֩ עַל־קִ֨יר הַבַּ֤יִת יצוע [יָצִ֙יעַ֙] סָבִ֔יב אֶת־קִיר֤וֹת הַבַּ֙יִת֙ סָבִ֔יב לַֽהֵיכָ֖ל וְלַדְּבִ֑יר וַיַּ֥עַשׂ צְלָע֖וֹת סָבִֽיב׃
Against the outside wall of the House—the outside walls of the House enclosing the Great Hall and the Shrine—he built a storied structure; and he made side chambers all around.
Contra el muro del edificio construyó galerías alrededor de los muros del templo, es decir, del lugar santo y del santuario interior; y les hizo cuartos laterales alrededor.
היצוע [הַיָּצִ֨יעַ] הַתַּחְתֹּנָ֜ה חָמֵ֧שׁ בָּאַמָּ֣ה רָחְבָּ֗הּ וְהַתִּֽיכֹנָה֙ שֵׁ֤שׁ בָּֽאַמָּה֙ רָחְבָּ֔הּ וְהַ֨שְּׁלִישִׁ֔ית שֶׁ֥בַע בָּאַמָּ֖ה רָחְבָּ֑הּ כִּ֡י מִגְרָעוֹת֩ נָתַ֨ן לַבַּ֤יִת סָבִיב֙ ח֔וּצָה לְבִלְתִּ֖י אֲחֹ֥ז בְּקִֽירוֹת־הַבָּֽיִת׃
The lowest story was 5 cubits wide, the middle one 6 cubits wide, and the third 7 cubits wide; for he had provided recesses around the outside of the House so as not to penetrate the walls of the House.
La galería inferior medía 5 codos de ancho, la intermedia 6 codos y la tercera 7 codos. Esto porque hizo reducciones en el exterior del edificio, alrededor de todo, para que las vigas de las galerías no se incrustaran en los muros del templo.
וְהַבַּ֙יִת֙ בְּהִבָּ֣נֹת֔וֹ אֶֽבֶן־שְׁלֵמָ֥ה מַסָּ֖ע נִבְנָ֑ה וּמַקָּב֤וֹת וְהַגַּרְזֶן֙ כָּל־כְּלִ֣י בַרְזֶ֔ל לֹֽא־נִשְׁמַ֥ע בַּבַּ֖יִת בְּהִבָּנֹתֽוֹ׃
When the House was built, only finished stones cut at the quarry were used, so that no hammer or ax or any iron tool was heard in the House while it was being built.
Mientras construían el templo, usaban solo piedras enteras talladas en la cantera, de modo que no se escuchaba en el templo ningún ruido de martillos, picos ni ninguna otra herramienta de hierro durante su construcción.
פֶּ֗תַח הַצֵּלָע֙ הַתִּ֣יכֹנָ֔ה אֶל־כֶּ֥תֶף הַבַּ֖יִת הַיְמָנִ֑ית וּבְלוּלִּ֗ים יַֽעֲלוּ֙ עַל־הַתִּ֣יכֹנָ֔ה וּמִן־הַתִּֽיכֹנָ֖ה אֶל־הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁים׃
The entrance to the middle [story of] the side chambers was on the right side of the House; and winding stairs led up to the middle chambers, and from the middle chambers to the third story.
La entrada del ala inferior estaba hacia el lado sur del templo. Se subía a la galería intermedia por una escalera de caracol, y desde allí se subía a la tercera.
וַיִּ֥בֶן אֶת־הַבַּ֖יִת וַיְכַלֵּ֑הוּ וַיִּסְפֹּ֤ן אֶת־הַבַּ֙יִת֙ גֵּבִ֔ים וּשְׂדֵרֹ֖ת בָּאֲרָזִֽים׃
When he finished building the House, he paneled the House with beams and planks of cedar.
Construyó, pues, el templo y lo terminó. Luego cubrió el edificio con vigas y tablas de cedro.
וַיִּ֤בֶן אֶת־היצוע [הַיָּצִ֙יעַ֙] עַל־כָּל־הַבַּ֔יִת חָמֵ֥שׁ אַמּ֖וֹת קֽוֹמָת֑וֹ וַיֶּאֱחֹ֥ז אֶת־הַבַּ֖יִת בַּעֲצֵ֥י אֲרָזִֽים׃ (פ)
He built the storied structure against the entire House—each story 5 cubits high, so that it encased the House with timbers of cedar.
También construyó las galerías alrededor de todo el templo, cada una de 5 codos de alto, y estaban apoyadas en el templo con vigas de cedro.
וַֽיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃
Then the word of the LORD came to Solomon,
Entonces Hashem dirigió su palabra a Shelomó, diciendo:
הַבַּ֨יִת הַזֶּ֜ה אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּ֣ה בֹנֶ֗ה אִם־תֵּלֵ֤ךְ בְּחֻקֹּתַי֙ וְאֶת־מִשְׁפָּטַ֣י תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה וְשָׁמַרְתָּ֥ אֶת־כָּל־מִצְוֺתַ֖י לָלֶ֣כֶת בָּהֶ֑ם וַהֲקִמֹתִ֤י אֶת־דְּבָרִי֙ אִתָּ֔ךְ אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי אֶל־דָּוִ֥ד אָבִֽיךָ׃
“With regard to this House you are building—if you follow My laws and observe My rules and faithfully keep My commandments, I will fulfill for you the promise that I gave to your father David:
«En cuanto a este templo que tú estás construyendo: si caminas según mis estatutos, cumples mis decretos y guardas todos mis mandamientos para caminar fielmente por ellos, entonces cumpliré mi palabra contigo, la que le expresé a tu padre David:»
וְשָׁ֣כַנְתִּ֔י בְּת֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹ֥א אֶעֱזֹ֖ב אֶת־עַמִּ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (ס)
I will abide among the children of Israel, and I will never forsake My people Israel.”

God tells Moses to collect a contribution from every person whose heart moves them to give: gold, silver, copper, colored wool, linen, skins, wood, oil, spices and precious stones. With these Israel is to build a sanctuary so that God may dwell among them. The parasha gives the design in detail: the Ark of acacia wood covered in gold, holding the tablets, with a gold cover and two cherubim; the table for the showbread; and the seven-branched menorah, hammered from one piece of pure gold. Then come the curtains and coverings of the Tabernacle, its gold-covered planks set in silver sockets, the curtain that separates the Holy of Holies, the copper altar, and the enclosure of the courtyard.
וְעָ֥שׂוּ לִ֖י מִקְדָּ֑שׁ וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֖י בְּתוֹכָֽם׃
And let them make Me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them.
